If you have opened this thread then you are most likely a new member to the forum. You might be a little confused as to what you are to do first, or what sort of a roleplaying site Celis is. Let's start off by saying that the setting in which this roleplay is staged can be manipulated and changed by every one of its writers. Organizations and countries can all rise and fall due to a handful of players, and the land is completely interactive - you won't have to deal with the confines of factions that have already been defined, which is what some roleplaying forums and roleplays tend to do. Here is a list of things you need to do before you can get started:
1: Read the forum Rules and acquaint yourself with the Celisian Government and History. This will give you a basic idea of what the roleplay is about, the main focus of Celis, how it is governed, and how it functions. You should also take a look at the Map where the majority of the RP's you will write in will take place.
2: Make a Character and establish them as an individual. Before you do so, send a message to either Prowler or Ellara, telling them what kind of character you wish to make and how you plan for them to play a role in the setting. This will also give you a chance to ask any question about the setting or things you might not have understood.
3: Start to establish your character financially by taking a look at the Celisian Monetary Standards, and you might also want to take a look at the Celisian Store Front. After you skim through these posts go to the Player Finances forum and take a look at the template within. Depending on your social status and background given in your character sheet,, a moderator will decide how much money you begin with in the setting. This will be factored into a post you will make by using the template given, by a Mod.
4: Wait for your character sheet to be approved and for your player finance sheet to be edited, and then you can find a roleplay to join or even create your own. Mind you, there will be official roleplaying plots that you can apply for, which will give your character a greater chance to change and affect the world about them.
